A CWMGORS driver has been banned from the road after admitting three motoring offences.

Jasper Roberts, 28, of Cemetery Road, Cwmgors, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates Court on November 24 for his sentencing.

On October 26, he changed his plea for three motoring offences. He admits to a count of drink driving after being caught driving a Toyota RAV 4 on February 13 on Penybanc Road in Ammanford with a breath alcohol level of 115micrograms per 100mililitres of breath.

He also admitted being the driver of a vehicle and failing to stop after an accident on the same date and street where he damaged a Vauxhall Corsa.

The third charge he admitted was a drug driving charge after he was found to have 440micrograms of Benzoylecgonine in his blood.

Roberts was banned from driving for 18 months, ordered to carry out a rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £80 and ordered to pay £620 costs.
