A DRINK-driver has been banned from the roads for 17 months and fined after being caught at Synod Inn.
Richard Alan Baitson, of Salem, Llandeilo, was stopped while driving a Vauxhall Corsa on the A487 at Synod Inn, Ceredigion. on December 14.
He had 62 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
The 31-year-old pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol when he appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
As well as the 17-month driving ban, Baitson was fined £583, with £85 costs and a £58 victim surcharge.
