Construction has begun on a new phase of homes at a popular development in Carmarthenshire.

Persimmon Homes has seen huge success at its Maes y Parc development off Heol Y Parc, Cefneithin, Cross Hands.

More than 70 properties have already been sold at the site, with more than 100 people now settled into their new homes – and Persimmon is expecting this new phase to be just as popular.

The 41 new properties are a range of two, three and four-bedrooms.

Sharon Bouhali, sales and marketing director at Persimmon Homes West Wales, said: “Maes y Parc is a fantastic development in a cracking location.

“We’re pleased to be pushing forward with this new phase, which offers something for everyone, from first-time buyers to larger families in need of more room.

“This new release of properties increases the choice significantly. We have already seen an increase in the number of visitors to our marketing suite, and we’d expect that to continue in the coming weeks.”

Construction work started on site in the middle of 2015. Once complete, the development will consist of 127 houses.

Maes y Parc is the perfect setting for those who want to experience village life, while still only a short drive from Carmarthen.

The site is within easy walking distance of Ysgol Maes Y Gwendraeth.

Persimmon’s Part Exchange scheme is available, where the house builder will organise the sale of a customer’s existing home from start to finish after two independent valuations.
