Pupils at Ysgol Y Tumble have raised cash for British Heart Foundation by taking on the My Marathon challenge.
Teacher Anwen Davies said: “The children really enjoyed doing the BHF My Marathon challenge which took place in May to help support this good cause.
“They ran one mile a day and really enjoyed it and felt fit and active after completing the challenge and we are looking at doing this challenge again next year and would also urge other schools to get involved.
“The children also made healthy smoothies and sold these to raise funds.
“They raised £50 in total.”
Jayne Lewis, Fundraising Manager South West Wales, added: “It was a pleasure to meet the children of Tumble school to thank them for all their help and support they have given to BHF Cymru.
“I’m so glad they enjoyed taking part in the BHF My Marathon challenge and also thank you for raising funds that will help us to beat heartbreak forever.”
