The Castle Inn - Newport

Bara Menyn - Cardigan

The Moody Cow - Llwyncelyn

1176 - Cardigan

1176 offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience at Cardigan Castle.

Named after the year that Lord Rhys hosted Wales’ first Eisteddfod, amongst the very walls, the 70-seat restaurant is surrounded by beautiful grounds and 900 years of history.

With a contemporary slate and floor-to-ceiling glass design and panoramic views over the River Teifi, 1176 is certainly fit for a prince.

Tom Holden, executive head chef will be offering a select three-course menu concentrating on local food and quality ingredients.

During the warmer months, you can also eat alfresco on our sun terrace, capturing prime views looking out over the river.

1176 is open every day between 10am and 4pm
