Motorway closed following two vehicle crash
THE M4 has been shut between Penllergaer and Hendy following a two vehicle crash.
Police have closed the motorway, from junction 47 to junction 48, for public safety.
A spokseman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "We are on the scene of a road traffic collision between junction 47, Penllergaer, and 48, Hendy.
"We are temporarily closing the road for public and emergency safety.
"Patience is required."
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service: "We received a call around 11.20 this morning, following reports of a road traffic incident near junction 48 of the M4.
"One emergency ambulance and crew were sent to the scene."
