Chief Constable Mark Collins said: “This intake of apprentices is an exciting opportunity for young people wanting to work and learn, while earning a wage. There so many opportunities and different career paths available at Dyfed-Powys Police. We’re keen to put ourselves out there as an employer of choice within Wales and attract young minds who may not have thought of having a career with us previously.”

Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn said: “I welcome this announcement from Dyfed-Powys Police. Apprenticeships provide an opportunity to gain a range of qualifications whilst in paid employment, offer excellent career progression and will allow the force to widen its talent pool.

"Earlier this year, I became the first Police and Crime Commissioner in Wales to appoint an apprentice, a positive step on our journey to train and retain more local staff from across the Dyfed-Powys area.”
