POLICE are searching for man after he dumped a vehicle full of stolen goods in the Upper Tumble area following a car chase.

Officers searched for the man near Cross Hands after he abandoned his vehicle.

He is described as a white male, approximately 6 foot 4 inches tall, with dark hair, and wearing a black jacket and a grey hooded jumper that may be covered in mud.

Officers were unable to locate the man last night.

A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “The man remains in outstanding and police enquiries are continuing.

“A man decamped from the vehicle at 6.20pm in the Upper Tumble area, after failing to stop for officers.

“Thorough searches were carried out in the area, but he was not located. Any sightings should be reported by calling 101.”

The man is not thought to be local to the area.
