Do you fancy a challenge this spring? Then why not join Team Shane and take on the Tour of Pembrokeshire to raise funds for a vital charity.
With a choice of four distances, there’s a route which will suit all abilities.
The Tour of Pembrokeshire is one of the best sportives in the UK and has developed into a must-ride event for cyclist throughout Europe.
The event is set to take place on May 19 and will start and end at Crug Glas Country House Hotel just outside of St David’s, and whichever route you opt for you are guaranteed the stunning Pembrokeshire countryside as your cycling companion.
A spokesperson for the event said: "If that’s not enough to tempt you, it’s worth taking part just for the feed stations which are well stocked with local produce – Welsh cakes, Bara Brith and faggots – the fuel of champions.
"Great cycling, great cakes, great scenery and the great Shane Williams."
Cyclists will be rising money for Velindre Cancer Centre, a charity which provides cancer care and treatment for thousands of people throughout South Wales.
