The fire service received a call at 4.41pm of a road traffic collision between an artic lorry and another vehicle.
Casualty care is being carried out at the scene.
A spokesperson for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service: said: "We received a call at 4.41pm and fire crews are currently in attendance at Capel Hendre Square.
"The RTC is involving an artic lorry and a private motor vehicle.
"No one is trapped.
"Casualty care is being carried out at the scene."
