Police officers are warning Ammanford residents about a scam taking place in the town.
Several residents have reported receiving a letter regarding the People's Postcode Lottery to Ammanford police officers.
A representative for Ammanford Police said: "Residents need to be aware of this scam.
"You should never pay anything in advance of winning a prize.
"If you haven't bought in or subscribed, we guarantee you haven't won."
