During Monday’s storm when the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia hit the west Wales coast widespread disruption throughout the area included damage at Cardigan Cemetery.
During the height of the storm three trees crashed down, two of them onto headstones in the old part of the cemetery in Netpool Road.
The burial ground is owned by Ceredigion County Council and a spokesperson said the trees would be removed as soon as possible.
