Welsh Hearts are excited to announce Aled Jones as their star guest for popular Christmas concert ‘Christmas on Broadway’ taking place at City Hall, Cardiff on Friday, December 15.

Aled needs no introduction. Welsh singer, Christian and TV personality who rose to fame as a young boy for singing ‘Walking in the Air’, the beautiful song from Channel 4's animated film ‘The Snowman’.

The song reached No. 5 in the UK charts and continues to be one of the most iconic Christmas songs of all times.

Since he shot to stardom, Aled’s career has gone from strength to strength.

In 2003, Aled re-launched his voice as an adult, when he released his first adult album, ‘Aled’. Although he had a previous album before this release, ‘From The Heart’, Aled considered ‘Aled’ as his first proper adult album.

In April 2016, Aled released 'One Voice', a concept album that saw Aled duet with his younger self. The album reached number one in the Classical Chart where he dominated the top spot for fourteen weeks and reached number three in the Official UK Charts.

Following the success of 'One Voice', Aled launched the follow up album 'One Voice At Christmas' in November 2016 with a spectacular press launch 18,000ft in the air where he performed the new 'Walking In The Air’ - which is now the highest Christmas concert flying over the UK.

All proceeds from this event will go towards Welsh Heart’s ‘Keep Wales Ticking appeal’.

The primary aim of this appeal is to provide even more defibrillators into Schools & Communities across Wales.
