Firefighters battled a blaze in Llandovery bedroom last night.
The fire was confined to an upstairs bedroom at a terraced house in Orchard Street.
Firefighters from Llandovery and Llanwrtyd Wells were called to the property at 7.49pm.
A spokesperson from Mid and West Wales Fire Service said: "On Monday, September 11 at 7.49 pm, crews from Llandovery and Llanwrtyd Wells were called to a property fire in Orchard Street, Llandovery.
"The fire was confined to a bedroom on the first floor of the terraced property.
"Firefighters extinguished the fire using four breathing apparatus, two thermal imaging cameras, two hose reel jets and a covering jets.
"A male adult also received oxygen therapy.
"The Fire Service left the incident at 9.50 pm."
