A woman has been taken to hospital with "serious injuries" following a Road Traffic Collision near Llandovery.
A section of the A40 between Llandovery and Halfway was closed following a collision between a motorcycle and a car this afternoon - Tuesday, July 25.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Officers attended the scene of a RTC involving a motorbike and a car on the A40 between Llandovery and Halfway shortly after 12:40pm.
"Fire and ambulance also attended. A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. The road re-opened shortly after 3pm.”
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We sent two emergency ambulances to the scene, where crews were supported by a Wales Air Ambulance.
"One person was airlifted to Swansea’s Morriston Hospital with serious injuries."
