AN AMMANFORD teen has won the title of Miss Junior Teen Carmarthen and will be competing in the grand final of Miss Junior Teen Great Britain 2017 later this year.

Ebony Morgans, 15, has beaten hundreds of teens from across the UK to make it to the final.

The Amman Valley School pupil said: "I am so excited to have made it to the final.

"It's a great achievement as there were so many gorgeous semi-finalists."

Ebony, along with the other regional Miss Junior Teen winners from across the UK, will now have a chance to compete for the crown in October.

The winner of the title will be in for the chance of winning some incredible prizes; including £500 worth of dreeses from the Dress Studio, a sparkling sash and a crown.

Ebony will join the other competitors at the luxurious Village hotel in Blackpool for the final.

The event will be held on Sunday, October 22 a The Globe in Blackpool.

The whole weekend is set to be full of fun, with Miss Junior Teen Great Britain finalists enjoying a beauty queen challenge day and a pyjama party at the hotel.

Ebony is fundraising for the charity Together for Short Lives in the run-up to the final.

Together for Short Lives is the leading UK charity that speaks out for children and young people who are expected to have short lives.

They help children and their families have as fulfilling lives as possible and the very best care at the end of life.

Ebony said: "I'm so excited to start raising money for the charity.

"I will be organising lots of events around the community before the final."
