A man has died following a traffic collision in Betws on Thursday morning.

Emergency services attended the fatal collision which happened on the road between Clydach and Betws, near Ammanford, at around 8.30am on April 13.

The incident involved one vehicle and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A spokesperson for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called shortly after 8.30am this morning to reports of a road traffic collision between Betws, near Ammanford, and Craig Cefn Parc.

“Fire crews from Ammanford and Pontardawe attended the scene and used a fire service drone. Rescue dogs were also used in the operation.”
