A Glanaman student has sewed up an experience of a lifetime at the headquarters of a fashion giant.
Bethan Davies has won the chance to work for H&M in Stockholm this summer as part of a three month paid design internship.
The second year Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design student at University of Wales Trinity Saint David in Swansea was briefed on a designing project in September where she had to submit a fabric design.
She perfected her masterpiece over a 12-week period which paid off immensely.
The 21-year-old will now be spending her summer holidays in the Swedish capital along with five other lucky students from her course after her fabric print was selected as one of the best.
Former Ysgol Dyffryn Aman pupil Bethan said: "I am specialising in fashion on my course so I am really looking forward to working for H&M.
"My placement is taking place in the Divided collection print studio, which is exciting and I feel so lucky.
"I also won a £100 voucher for H&M which I am going to spend in Sweden."
Her family are also beaming with pride with Bethan's excellent news.
Dad Phil, said: "We are all extremely proud of Bethan for achieving the internship which she worked hard for."
Bethan has just one year left of her university course before she faces the wide world where she would love to work in the fashion industry.
"Working for H&M in the future would be the dream.
"Hopefully there will be an opportunity to be offered a permanent role in the headquarters, but who knows," she added.
