Eluned Morgan, Mid and West Wales AM has organised a “surgery” for members of the public to raise individual concerns with Hywel Dda Community Health Council this week.
On Thursday, March 16 people will have the opportunity to discuss issues regarding local health services with members of Hywel Dda Health Board as well as the Community Health Council, the organisation which represents the interests of patients and the public in the National Health Service (NHS).
Eluned Morgan said, “I was amazed at how packed the meeting I organised on health services in the Amman Valley was.
“We promised this meeting as a more specific advice event so that anyone wishing to raise a more formal complaint on the issue of health services, or more widely, can do so with the Community Health Council.
"To make a change local patients must use the proper channels. That is what will make a positive difference in the longer term.”
The “surgery” will take place on Thursday, March 16 between 1pm and 4pm at The Black Mountain Centre, Upper Brynaman.
