Staff at an Ammanford motor parts store have been left star-struck after a Game of Thrones star called in to pick up a car part.

Liz Maul, whose brother owns B&R Factors on Station Road, Tirydail said she couldn’t believe it when Welsh actor Robert Pugh walked into the store.

“I’m a massive Game of Thrones fan and to come face-to-face with him was amazing,” she said.

Pugh played Craster, the master of Craster’s Keep, on the award winning show, which has featured a number of Welsh actors including Carmarthenshire’s very own Iwan Rheon who was cast as Ramsey Bolton.

Liz added: “Robert Pugh came in with a movie director or producer and they had learned that my brother, Chris Thomas, was a Vauxhall enthusiast and they wanted to purchase the boot from a Vauxhall Carlton for a film they were making.

“He was very nice and Chris was very happy to be able to help him out.

“We hope he’ll call in again.

“It certainly turned around what would have been just another busy Monday.”
