Parts of Carmarthenshire has witnessed snowfall over night with the Met Office issuing another yellow warning for today.

The warning comes as showers of snow, sleet and hail are expected to continue this morning.

The chief forecaster says to expect between two and four centimetres of snow on some low lying areas while high ground may see locally five to 10cm. Ice is also likely to affect untreated surfaces.

The snow and ice may lead to the risk of disruption with difficult driving conditions.

Betws Mountain Road has been closed temporarily in both direction between the Betws junction in Ammanford and the Craig-cefn-Parc junction in Clydach.

There are no school closures to report in Carmarthenshire due to the snow.
