A WOMAN who was involved in a car crash between Abergwili and Nantgaredig last week has suffered potentially life-changing injuries.
Three people were taken to hospital following the two car collision on January 6 which closed a section of the A40 for up to six hours.
Wales Air Ambulance transported the woman to Morriston Hospital in Swansea, and a man and a young boy were transported to Glangwili hospital.
It is believed the injuries sustained by the man and boy are not life-threatening.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “All three people remain in hospital and are stable.
“The female driver has possible life-changing injuries.”
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the collision to contact them on 101.
