An Ammanford fundraiser is set to host a sixties themed charity night next month to raise cash for Amman valley hospital's Macmillan unit.

Stacey Morris of Norman Road has organised the event at Ammanford Miners Welfare on Saturday, December 3.

The 25-year-old said she wanted to give something back to the hospital and its staff who have been been there for her and her family over the years.

She said: "My family were born at the hospital and received treatment there so it holds a special place in my heart. The charity event is my chance to give something back.

"The hospital is vital for the area and we are very lucky to have it on our doorstep. The League of Friends do amazing fundraising and I hope we can help support them by raising much needed funds."

The night will include an auction, raffle and various prizes.

Raffle tickets are available from the bar at the Welfare.

It start at 7pm until late, entry £2.
