DYFED-POWYS Police would like to speak to anyone present in forestry near Cilgwyn Mansion, Llangadog, on October 23 to build a picture of events.
An emergency call was received requesting ambulance attendance to forestry land near Cilgwyn Mansion at at 4.40pm last Sunday 23 October.
John Griffiths, a 40 year old motorcyclist from the Ciliau Aeron area, had sustained serious injuries as a result of a collision with a quad bike. Paramedics and police attended but tragically he died at the scene.
A 22-year-old man from the Haverfordwest area has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving but police enquires are still ongoing.
Any members of the community who may have been present in the forestry at the time of the collision are asked to contact PC 766 Roger Jones at the Carmarthenshire Roads Policing Unit on 101.
