The A40 has been closed following the incident.
The A40 between Llandovery and Llanwrda is closed in both directions following a four-vehicle collision.
The incident happened shortly before 9.10am this morning.
Police and ambulance are at the scene and the road has been closed.
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said two women were treated by paramedics at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
A diversion is in place via the A4069 through Llangadog.
