CARMARTHENSHIRE residents have a chance to voice their concerns this month as a health board is hosting several advice sessions around the county.

Hywel Dda University Health Board are inviting people to their Let’s Talk Health events across Carmarthenshire throughout September.

Together with Community Health Council, the health board is holding a series of Big Conversation workshops to ask well-being means for you.

The workshop-style events will give residents an opportunity to get involved in their health, community and help with future planning.

There is a session being held at the ABC Church in Ammanford at 6.30pm on Wednesday, September 28. There is also a session at Ysgol Griffith Jones in St Clears on September 21.

Chair of Hywel Dda UHB, Bernardine Rees said: “Welsh Government has introduced The Well-being of Future Generations Act to make sure that local public service providers tackle the challenges that we face together.

“We need to find out your views to make sure we give current and future generations a good quality of life and we need to think about the long term impact of the decisions we make now.”

You can also give your views by completing a survey on snapsurveys.com until 30 September 2016.

The events will also provide an opportunity to meet Hywel Dda Community Health Council (CHC) representatives to find out more about the role of the CHC and the support they offer patients in Carmarthenshire.
