IT has been revealed that over half of a Welsh person’s annual monthly income has been spent ahead of tonight’s clash with Portugal.

As the Welsh squad gears up for tonight’s Euro 2016 semi-final match in Lyon, Welsh fans are hoping Coleman’s team can carry on their epic winning streak and smash Portugal from the tournament.

Thousands of Welsh fans have travelled to France to support their country already despite being allocated a small number of tickets, and for the Dragons’ fans, tonight’s match alone will cost them nothing short of £670, a hefty 52% of their average monthly income.

For devoted fans who’ve been supporting their country throughout the tournament, £5,169.76 will be the cost of their devotion so far.

That’s a whopping 402% of the average monthly income and although Wales are the second top goal scorers of the tournament, this still works out at a cool £516.98 per goal.

Portugal fans have forked out a whopping £853.82 for the lowest goal scorers of the tournament left, Portugal after they have battled their way to the semis on penalty wins.

New data released by betting and gaming experts, Ladbrokes, shows exactly how much devoted supporters are really paying to watch their team fight to realise their Euro 2016 dream.

By costing up the average spend of a fan at the Euros and calculating this as a percentage of each country’s average monthly income, the Euro 2016 tool illustrates this in relation to the typical wage of a fan, to demonstrate the true price tag of devotion.

The average ticket cost for fans tonight will come in at £195, nearly a fifth of a Welsh fans wage.

A flight for tonight’s match will cost fans around £208 travelling 305 miles.
