A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a collision with a car in Ammanford this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 2pm to reports of a road traffic collision on New Road, Ammanford.
A spokeswoman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We sent a crew in an emergency ambulance to the scene, and a woman was taken to Swansea's Morriston Hospital."
It is not known what injures she suffered.
The road has is now open.
The police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to contact the police on 101.
