A COACH has caught fire this morning in Tycroes.
Fire crews from Ammanford were called to the A483 close to Tycroes Business Park and the Coppers Estate after the Davies Coaches vehicle caught fire at around 8.17am this morning.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and small gear to extinguish the coach, which was substantially damaged by the fire.
Police were also in attendance at the scene.
No one was injured during the fire- which seems to have caused heavy dmage to the front end of the coach- and all passengers and the driver were accounted for at the scene.
A spokesman for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue said: "On Tuesday morning at 8.17am firefighters from Ammanford attended a coach fire near to the Coopers Estates on the A483.
"Firefighters used breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and small gear to extinguish the vehicle which was substantially damaged by the fire. Police were also in attendance at the scene.
"All persons were accounted for and no injuries were reported."
