TWO stray goats are causing a stir in Pontaman.

The pair, who are thought to have been roaming for a week, have also been spotted in Glanaman.

Ammanford police officers have now launched an appeal for the owner to come forward.

PC Steve Morris said, “The goats are currently behind Rice Plumbing in Pontaman near the railway tracks. We understand they have been roaming the area for around a week now and we hope to get them in a safer place.

“We have been told by local residents they have been seen in Glanaman and have made their way down to Pontaman. They have also been spotted on the road so we are obviously concerned for the safety of both the goats and motorists.

“We have exhausted all enquiries so we are now hoping someone can take them in until we can find their owner.”
