BRITAIN’S leading specialist aquatics retailer is celebrating setting up its 150th shop at Cirencester’s Dobbies Garden Centre with a fundraising day for Marie Curie.

A host of activities will take place on Saturday, which will include the first 25 customers on the day receiving a goody bag worth £20.

Talks will be on throughout the day by various experts, including Tropical Marine Centre, (TMC) the pioneers of the marine aquarium and the first to import marine fish and invertebrates in the UK, who will be on hand to talk to customers regarding all aspects of marine and reef fishkeeping, and planted tropical aquariums.

The shop sees a 4,000 litre marine system with a 6ft coral tray and a large koi pond to allow customers to feed the fish.

Dale Lewis, Dobbies Garden Centre manager, said: “It’s fantastic to welcome our new concession partner, Maidenhead, the leading aquatic’s specialists, to Dobbies Cirencester, who bring a strong level of expertise and professionalism to the overall package now on offer.
