Capturing last night’s super blood moon perfectly,is this shot by Christopher Onn from Llanedi.
Christopher took the photograph by digiscoping, which is using a camera attached to a spotting scope, something he normally uses for taking photos of birds.
Christopher has only being using the technique for four weeks, and last night’s rare event of a super moon and lunar eclipse was a great chance to test his skills.
Stargazers across the world were entranced by the moon last night (Sunday)- not only was it bigger and brighter than usual but tinged a dramatic blood red through the eclipse.
This rare natural phenomenon last happened in 1982 and the next one will not appear in the skies until 2033.
