FIVE motorists have been fined by Llanelli magistrates for breaking 30 miles per hour speed limits.
Abigail Foster, aged 42, of 2 Rock Street, Caio, Llanwrda, drove at 37 miles per hour on the B4336 Llanfihangel Ar Arth, in November and was fined £55 with three points on her licence, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge. She pleaded guilty.
Rosemary Ora, aged 70, of 2 Talhardd Villas, Ffairfach, was convicted in her absence of driving at 36 miles per hour at Gorslas in November and was fined £200 with three points, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
Maxine Tina Jones, aged 46, 78 Margaret Street, Ammanford, was convicted in her absence of driving at 38 miles per hour at Glanaman in November. She was fined £200, with three points, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
Michael William Poole, aged 53, of 5 Maes yr Hendre, Garnant, admitted he drove at 35 miles per hour at Cwmduad in November, and was fined £150 with three points, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
Shirley Elizabeth Redway, aged 56, of Tyr Graig, Myddfai, was fined £350 with five points, £85 costs and a £35 victim surcharge after she admitted to travelling at 50mph at Gorslas in November.
