A BY-election is taking place next week to fill a vacancy on Llannon Community Council.
Two candidates are competing for the seat in the Tumble Ward, with the election taking place next Thursday, June 25.
Candidates are Michael Jones of Rhosnewydd, Independent; and Derfel Lester of Bethania Road, Welsh Labour.
Polling cards are not being issued for this election, however people do not need them to cast their vote.
Eligible electors can vote in person at the polling stations any time between 7am and 10pm on the day.
There are three polling stations at Bethania Vestry, Llechyfedach; Hermon Chapel, Llannon; and Tumble Hall, Heol Y Neuadd.
Details of the candidates can be found on the County Council website and the result of the election can be viewed online from Friday, June 26.
