A 32-year-old Pontardawe woman has been charged with attempted murder after her mother was stabbed.
A 63-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital from a house in Gwyrddgoed Road after an alleged stabbing in April.
Rhian Robinson appeared at Bridgend Magistrates Court on Wednesday after being charged by police.
The case has been adjourned to Cardiff Crown Court until later this month.
A South Wales Police spokesman said the injured woman has been released from hospital.
