IT IS now even easier to find your local polling station in Carmarthenshire ahead of tomorrow’s General Election.

With one click on Carmarthenshire County Council’s i-local page you can find out exactly where you are able to cast your vote on Thursday, May 7.

The i-local page gives useful information on its nearest council services and has now added polling stations in readiness for the election.

To find your nearest polling station, add in your postcode in the box and then click on the Council and Democracy heading, tick the box polling station and then click on search.

A house icon will appear for your home and then your nearest polling station is highlighted in pink.

Carmarthenshire County Council's chief executive and the returning officer for the Carmarthen East and Dinefwr and Llanelli wards, Mark James said: ‘With the General Election planning in full swing we are gearing up to have 151 polling stations operating on May 7.

"The Election team will be working flat out to make sure everything runs smoothly"
