A round-up of speeders prosecuted at Llanelli magistrates court for breaking 30mph limits on roads in the area.

William Gower, aged 40, of 73 Goppa Road, Pontarddulais, admitted he drove at 35mph at Hendy in September.

He was fined £135 with three points, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge. A charge of failing to identify a driver was withdrawn.

Adam Thomas Stout, aged 30, of 98 Squirrels Walk, Pontarddulais, was fined £290 with six points after admitted to driving at 54mph at Forest in September. He must pay £85 costs and a £29 victim surcharge.

Peter Belton, aged 54, of 88 Wernolau Road, Ammanford, drove at 36mph through Saron in August and was fined £80 with three points and a £20 victim surcharge. He admitted the offence.

David Dudley Samuel Davies, aged 24, of 146 Waterloo Road, Penygroes, admitted he drove at 36mph in Gorslas in August and was fined £135 with three points, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Derek Peter Ewer, aged 43, of 122 Waterloo Road, Penygroes, was fined £40 with three points, after admitting he drove at 35mph through Gorslas in August. He will pay costs of £85 and a £20 victim surcharge.

Neil Andrew Gilbert, aged 39, of 116 Dol Y Derwen, Ammanford, pleaded guilty to driving at 36mph at Saron in August and was fined £135 with three points, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Kelly Leanne Oxenham, aged 37, of 28a Pantybidau Road, Blaenau, admitted she drove at 35mph through Gorslas in August and received a £40 fine and three points. She must also pay costs of £85 and a £20 victim surcharge.
