AN AMMANFORD man who stole a mobile phone has been ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work by Llanelli magistrates.
Mark Lesley Richard Griffith, aged 33, of 128 Saron Road, admitted he stole a Samsung Galaxy Y phone from Alexandre Betton in Ammanford on January 1.
No separate penalty was added for a second charge of possession of 0.75 grams of cannabis resin that Griffith admitted he had when stopped in Ammanford on January 11.
He must also pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
A third charge of failing to surrender to magistrates was withdrawn.
