Dyfed-Powys Police has announced the death of a 53-year-old man in custody.
The man, who has not been named, died while being held Haverfordwest Police Station on Saturday morning.
The Force has referred the incident to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) which will conduct an independent investigation into the death.
A Force spokesman said: "Dyfed-Powys Police can confirm that on the morning of Saturday, January 31, 2015, a 53-year-old man died whilst in police custody at Haverfordwest Police Station.
"We pass our condolences to the family of the deceased and our thoughts are with them at this time.
"Dyfed-Powys Police is providing full cooperation and support to the IPCC investigation."
