A GORLAS man has been fined £140 by Llanelli magistrates, after he admitted he was in possession of 0.85 grams of cocaine in Ammanford on November 29 last year.

Matthew Raymond Doyle, aged 41, of 3 Maes Roan, must also pay costs of £85 and a £20 victim surcharge. The drugs will be destroyed.

LLANELLI magistrates have ordered a Swansea Valley man to pay £450 compensation to the owner of a car he damaged.

Ian James Clarke, aged 42, of 18 Fynnon Wen, Clydach, admitted he cause the damage to Richard David Morgan’s vehicle at Felinfoel, Llanelli, on June 30, last year.

He must pay £85 costs, a £15 victim surcharge and has also been made the subject of a conditional discharge for 12 months.

AN AMMAN Valley man has been fined £135 for littering.

Nigel Kenneth Jones, aged 36, of 9 Maes y Glyn, Lower Brynaman, dropped an energy drink can in the carpark of Ammanford Job Centre and then left it there, Llanelli Magistrates heard.

The case was proved in his absence and he must also pay costs of £130 and a £20 victim surcharge.

DRIVING a vehicle he was not licenced for has cost a Betws man £311.

Llanelli magistrates fined Emyr Wyn Lewis, aged 39, of 23 Maesqaurre Road, £100 with £191 costs and a £20 victim surcharge, for the offence which happened in Bynea in June last year.

He admitted the offence.

A LLANDYBIE man, who made threatening phone calls on New Year’s Day, has been discharged conditionally for six months by Llanelli magistrates.

Zackery Lee Griffiths, aged 22, of 71 Ammanford Road, admitted he made the calls to Jason Paul Larkin on January 1. He must pay a £15 victim surcharge.

LLANELLI magistrates have fined a Llandybie man £200 for assault.

Shane Joseph Fahey, aged 26, of 2 Erwr Brenhinoedd, admitted he assaulted Chantelle Donovan by beating her at Ammanford on New Year’s Day.

He must also a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
