WELSH language campaigners are set to host a meeting this weekend to decide whether the local authority is doing enough to ensure the future of the language and communities in Carmarthenshire.
Nine months since Carmarthenshire County Council adopted a new language strategy and two years since the release of the latest Census results, Cymdeithas yr Iaith have announced their plans to hold the public meeting on Saturday, January 17 at 10.30am in St Peter’s Hall, Nott Square, Carmarthen.
Sioned Elin from Cymdeithas yr Iaith will be joined by Councillors Cefin Campbell and Cefin Higgins and the High Sheriff of Dyfed Elinor Jones.
