A CROSS Hands car sale business is hoping to expand its services by constructing a MOT and vehicle maintenance unit.

Carmarthenshire County Council has received an application for the scheme, to be constructed at J &J Motors Autopark at Heol Stanllyd on the Cross Hands Business Park.

In their application, agents Davies Richards design Ltd, acting on behalf of applicant Phil Beynon, states that the proposed development would ‘exploit the existing site to provide necessary additional accommodation to allow proper function of the site as a vehicle sales facility’ and that the scheme would safeguard existing jobs as well as creating additional employment.
