A round-up of some of the latest applications put before county planners.

A HISTORIC Towy Valley home is to be modernised under plans submitted to Carmarthenshire Council.

County planners have received an application for changes to be made to the Grade II listed Cwrt Henry House, Dryslwyn.

Under the plans, submitted by agents Roger Clive-Powell Architects on behalf of applicant Thomas Lloyd, the Georgian house would see changes to the kitchen location, under floor heating added to the front rooms of the house and repairs to a stone tiled floor.

There would also be new windows for a ground floor toilet, ventilation works and new steps to the library to an already approved conservatory.

A NEW DOG walk could be created at Llanwrda if county planners agree.

Jamie Evans, of Lead On, Bellview, Llansadwrn, is seeking permission from Carmarthenshire Council to change the use of a part of land on the property to make a private dog walking area.

A NEW home could be built in Tumble if planners approve submitted plans.

Applicant Simon Harris is seeking full planning for a detached dwelling to be built at land adjacent to 88, Bethesda Road, Tumble.

Planners are also considering allowing a four bedroom house at land adjacent to 69, Carmarthen Road, Cross Hands. The plans have been submitted by agents Sauro Architectural Design on behalf of Mr R Lewis.

TWO motoring solutions are being considered by Carmarthenshire Council.

Eryl Clement Lewis is seeking permission for vehicle access and off street parking area at Glanyrafon, Penybanc, Llandeilo and Stephen Moulson, of Pentwyn Road, Ammanford, has applied for permission to build at detached garage at Amanwy, Johns Terrace, Llandeilo Road, Gorslas.

PLANS TO extend a bungalow have been submitted to Carmarthenshire Council.

Duncan Andrews, of Cwmaman Road, Glanaman, is seeking full planning for an extension and loft conversion at 31, Pentregwenlais Road, Llandybie.

PLANS to extend a converted barn at a property owned by the Archbishop Rowan William’s Hermitage Trust have been submitted to Carmarthenshire Council.

The scheme would see the property at Disserth Y Mynydd, Ithon Duon, Rhandirmwyn, being extended to house one room and a shower room.
