Even more cases from the round-up of offences heard at Llanelli magistrates court this week.

AN AMMAN Valley man, who had been accused of damaging crockery, has had his case dismissed by Llanelli magistrates.

John Noble, aged 51, of 1 Ceidrim Road, Garnant, had denied damaging the crockery, of a value unknown, in Ammanford in September.

Magistrates ordered that Noble’s costs be met from central court funds.

Magistrates have ordered an Ammanford man to carry out a community order after he stole a tablet computer.

Steven James Pritchard, aged 20, of 8 Heol Marlais, pleaded guilty to stealing the £500 tablet and £20 from Sarah McLoughlin in Llandeilo in May.

Llanelli magistrates ordered him to carry out a year’s worth of alcohol activity courses and attend supervision appointments. He must also pay compensation of £20, costs of £250 and a £60 victim surcharge.

CARMARTHENSHIRE County Council has asked magistrates to make liability orders for 238 non-payments of council tax.

Of these orders, requested at Llanelli Magistrates Court on September 6, 92 was withdrawn and 29 accounts paid.
