A round-up of yet more of the cases to have been heard at Llanelli magistrates court during the past week.

AN AMMANFORD motorist has been fined £110 after he was found guilty of breaking the speed in limit on a 30miles per hour limit road.

Ian William Laing, of Unit B, Food Laboratory, Clos Fferws, Capel Hendre, drove at 43 miles per hour on the A485 New Inn in March.

He must also pay £250 costs, a £20 victim surcharge and his licence was endorsed with four points.

AN AMMAN Valley man has been made the subject of a six-month supervision order after he admitted to assault.

Richard Matthew Hill, aged 33, of 8, Cowell road, Garnant, beat Toni Owen in Llanelli in September. He also admitted to damaging a wardrobe and picture frame of unknown value.

Llanelli magistrates also ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

LLANELLI magistrates have fined a Penygroes man for sending a grossly offensive, indecent or obscene text.

Keiran Sullivan, aged 18, of 20 Norton Road, pleaded guilty to sending the message from Carmarthen in September and was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

TWO MOTORISTS have been fined by Llanelli Magistrates for breaking 30 miles per hour speed limits.

Alison Elizabeth Schwarz, aged 49, of 210 St Teilo, Pontarddulais, was found guilty of driving at 39 miles per hour in Forest in April. She was fined £200 with £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Zara Kayleigh Jayne Simisker, aged 29, of 39 Dol Y Dderwen, Ammanford, admitted she had driven at 41 miles per hour at Forest on May 14. She was fined £80 with a £20 victim surcharge.

Both also received three penalty points.
