A TOWY Valley veterinary practice is looking to relocate by creating a purpose designed new premises.
In plans submitted to Carmarthenshire County Council, Teilo Vets of Llandeilo would be able to relocate from their town centre practice to on a new base on Beachwood Industrial Estate on Talley Road.
The scheme would see the conversion of a redundant office building there into to a ground floor business with two flats created on the first floor for staff use during night shifts.
In the proposals, applicant Euros Jones states that the move is necessary, as the practice’s current King Street premises does not allow for deliveries as it is on a narrow one-way street.
The new base, which would be at the former Countryside Council for Wales Offices, would allow better access for clients and offer more choice and quality, including providing more disabled friendly services. It would also create room for deliveries to the practice.
