S4C’s Chief Executive and Chairman are calling on the people of Ammanford and the surrounding area to go along to a viewers’ evening set to take place at the Mountain Gate, Tycroes.

The start of the autumn season has been an exciting time for S4C with a number of fundamental changes to the schedule coming into force.

Among the recent changes is the launch of Clwb, a new sports service which includes a packed Sunday afternoon show with live football and rugby along with coverage of a variety of other sports and discussions on the week’s top stories.

But what do you think about S4C’s programmes and the services it offers?

An S4C Viewers’ Evening will take place on Tuesday evening, September 30, at 7pm in the Mountain Gate Hotel, Tycroes.

Viewers will have an opportunity to give their feedback on S4C programmes and services and to share their thoughts about what they would like to see on the channel in the future.

There will be a chance to meet and discuss with S4C’s Chief Executive, Ian Jones, and the Chairman of the S4C authority, Huw Jones.

As well as the launch of Clwb, the past few weeks have seen many new series kicking off on the channel. Among them is the new three part documentary Adam Price a Streic y Glowyr, which follows politician and academic Adam Price’s personal journey through the political storms of the 1984-85 Miners’ Strike.

Another new series for S4C is the baking series Becws with The Great British Bake Off contestant Beca Lyne-Pirkins; and the entertainment show for Saturday nights, Llwyfan, which was filmed at Llanelli's Ffwrnais Theatre. Also new to the screens is the learners' service Dal Ati, with programmes every Sunday morning along with an app.

The Viewers’ Evening is an opportunity to share your views on these programmes or any other element of S4C’s service.

Light refreshments will be available on the night, a loop system and translation equipment will also be provided.
