TWO men have appeared in Llanelli Magistrates Court charged with two counts of fraud.
Jaroume Jeyakumar and Manorajh Ratnasigamany were arrested and charged with possession of a counterfeit article for use in fraud, and fraud by representation.
A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys police said: “The defendants were caught with a ‘skimming device’ which was believed to have been used to withdraw money from cash machines.
“Two other suspects were arrested and bailed to return at a later date.”
A Dyfed Powys Police spokesperson said," Please be vigilant when taking money from cash machines.
"People who have been targeted have noticed a small amount taken from their bank accounts, this is what happens just before they take larger quantities.
"Take extra care and keep an eye on your bank accounts for any suspicious behaviour."
