Amazon Student, a programme that helps students save time and money on their shopping, has landed.

Students leaving home for the first time soon realise how much is needed for the next step in their lives; everything from student essentials to home comforts.

With Amazon Student, they’ll have the choice of a wealth of products at great low prices with fast, convenient delivery.

Amazon Student helps students save time and money on their shopping by offering them six months of FREE One-Day Delivery on over 7 million eligible items.

Students can order eligible products and have them delivered directly to their door with One-Day Delivery at no extra cost, leaving more time for the important things; socialising with friends, exploring their new city and, of course, the actual studying.

What’s more, Amazon Student is giving students who sign up the chance to win some great on-the-spot prizes worth up to £3,000. Each week, from September 14, 2014 to October 25, 2014, winners will be selected at random from all Amazon Student members.

With two months until term starts, even the most organised students are sure to have forgotten something they need for the year ahead.

If it’s an important book, a key computer programme or even something for the kitchen, Amazon Student can help.

At the end of the six-month free trial of Amazon Prime delivery benefits, students can convert to a discounted Amazon Prime membership for just £39 per year – less than half the standard cost of Amazon Prime.

In addition to unlimited One-Day Delivery, students who pay for a discounted Prime membership will also receive access to more than 15,000 popular movies and TV episodes through Prime Instant Video and access to 500,000 Kindle Books to borrow from the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library.

To sign up, students need to follow a few simple steps on Amazon.co.uk, providing their university e-mail address and completing the validation process. For more information and links to terms and conditions visit www.amazon.co.uk/joinstudent.
