Carmarthenshire visitors to this year’s National Eisteddfod in Llanelli will be able to reach the Maes directly with easy-access public transport.

A free shuttle bus service will run every 20 minutes from Llanelli’s rail and bus stations to the Maes, completing all journeys made by public transport from Carmarthenshire.

The first shuttle bus will leave Llanelli rail station at 08.05am and the bus station at 08.10am. The last bus will leave the rail station at 10.05pm and the bus station at 10.10pm.

Visitors can travel from Carmarthen to Llanelli on the West Wales train line. The Heart of Wales line also runs from Mid Wales down through Llandeilo and Ammanford.

First Cymru bus 128 from Ammanford as well as buses 195, 196, 197, 198 and X11 from Carmarthen travel to Llanelli. The BWCABUS service in North Carmarthenshire also offers access to these bus routes from other locations.
